ICT TECHNICIAN: SYSTEM SECURITY REF: DMSA/11/2026

Job Description:

DITSONG: Museums of South Africa (DMSA) is looking to appoint a highly capable individual to the permanent position of ICT Technician: System Security, based at the Head Office in Pretoria. Reporting to the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, the successful candidate will receive a salary of R485 545.96 and will be responsible for administering information security systems, managing IT risks and controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and standards such as ISO 270001/2, SANS top 20, and NIST 800-35. To qualify, applicants must hold a recognized Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Systems Engineering, combined with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT desktop support and network maintenance. Possession of a valid driver's license, an own vehicle, and relevant public-sector experience are strong advantages.
