Dineo Nchabeleng was born in Pretoria and spent most of her childhood in the East Rand, where she completed her nursery and primary schooling. She kick-started her career with international feature films, My Brother, The Egg & Beat The Drum ( won over 20 international film awards). She then presented on SABC1’s YoTV: Blue Couch and SABC 2’s School TV.

After a few years of working her way up, she made it onto South Africa’s biggest soapies:

• Generations
• End Game
• Dream World Season 2
• Thandeka’s Diary
• Family Secrets 
• Soul City are amongst the shows she later went on to be a part of on the SABC show roll
• Lockdown and Etv’s Gold Diggers

Dineo has had a consistent career in prime-time television and continues to entertain viewers while being a mother to her daughter.
