Job Description:

DITSONG: Museums of South Africa (DMSA) is seeking a suitably qualified and dedicated individual to fill the permanent position of Education Officer at the Paul Kruger Museum in Pretoria. Reporting to the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, the successful candidate will earn a salary of R485 545.96 and will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and presenting innovative educational, outreach, and public programs for diverse audiences. Key duties also include managing visiting school tours, offering marketing support, collaborating on museum exhibitions, and maintaining strong relationships with educators and the community. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum of a diploma in a relevant field (a Bachelor's degree is an advantage) and at least 3 years of experience in a museum public program or educational environment.
