Job Description:

DITSONG: Museums of South Africa (DMSA) is seeking a highly skilled and qualified individual for the permanent position of ICT Technician: Network Administrator, based at the Head Office in Pretoria. Reporting to the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, the successful candidate will earn a salary of R485 545.96 and will be responsible for providing desktop support, maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring information security compliance (such as CCNA/CCNP standards), and managing IT risks and controls. To qualify for this role, applicants must possess a recognized Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Systems Engineering, along with a minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in IT desktop support and network maintenance. A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and prior public-sector experience are considered advantageous.
